Neat how the marble looks almost pristine and the stone work is majorly weathered. I could almost say that the marble was added later.

It's interesting, 'cause even the 'normal' stone is partially marble. The entire mountain's made of it.

Probably the 'normal' stone is a lower grade of marble which weathered more quickly.

Almost certainly. There's some sandstone and slate on that mountain. You know, come to think of it, the weathered bits may be the first layer of stucco, the brownish stuff.

I think if you look along the left edge of the leftmost window under the balcony, you can see the brown thing is covering the masonry and is quite thick. Probably stucco.
Anyway, weather (and light) permitting, I'll take the new digicam to Greece and shoot some higher-detail photos of the masonry.
