There is also a little island about 1/4 a mile to the left that you can kayak/boat out to and swim around. Under the bridges is also THE place in the keys to go to fish for Barracuda and Tarpon. If I was a full member I could add some pics from underneath the middle span...there's a bunch of crap falling off the span.
