Milwaukee Road. It seems even the trail bearings are still on... How would you come up with such an idea? Yeah, Let's have a floating restaurant, on a barge, and we'll put old scenic trains compartments on it... WEIRD.

well this barge was originally a great lakes carfloat (railcar) so its not that strange

just figured out the CN patch there, these cars were built by the milwaukee road themselves, then sold to CN 2 were scrapped in canada and they were later sold back to american interests (the remaining ones) they were pulled off the rails by the FRA because they had no rear door

one of these cars was CN1901 "Malpeque" and the other CN 1903 "Trinity"

they were only painted in this milwaukee road scheme AFTER the restaurant in detroit closed, as a restaurant they wore the mundane cn colors
