Description
The bath and shower stalls are a continuation of the previous room. They span the entire north side of the building and have two entrances, one into the third hotel-like room, the other into the corridor. There was overhead storage too.

Hmmm...little black tiles, green bath/toilet/sink, yellow walls...in a house that doesnt make sense. I guess it all goes together in someone's mind...

This can't be a house. It's too big for that. It has the feel of something more... public, in a way. Add to that three-phase electricity and a bar in the basement and you'll see what I mean.

The little tiles are all sorts of navy blue-like tones. They just seem black in the photos.

Oops, thanks...yeah, I did see the bar. Not familiar with 3-phase electricity. I just know how to plug things in & if the socket doesnt work then its time to call someone who does know. Dont like messing with electricity or gas....

3-phase AC is what you get when you have a large-ish site (you get three separate supplies, each with a phase difference of 120 degrees).

Here: http://science.howstuffworks.com/power3.htm

Hotels, factories, and old mainframe data centres have it.

When I saw that first photo of the concrete divider walls and benches, I thought some kind of gym or club type place??

That's also my guess, even though it was way out of the beaten path back in the Sixties. Perhaps it was like that to begin with, then changed hands a few times?
