Description
This room was Fred's room or some guest room presumably. It contained mostly his clothes and a wide array of books. Interesting forensic note: for quite some time it appeared to me that Fred never used the second floor of his house, based on the advanced stages of decay and dust collection. Interestingly, I picked up some kind of radio and electronics encyclopedia up off one of his bookshelves in this room (Fred was a hobbyist), and I noticed a bookmark in a few of the pages. One of the bookmarks consisted of a post card that would be typical of a magazine insert. On the post card, there were two contact methods advertised: either the standard business reply mail printed on the card, or via a toll-free number. The toll-free number began with area code (866). The (866) toll-free NPA was only assigned in 1999; it only entered use in early 2000. Thus, Fred was using his second floor well into the last few years. This makes the state of his home infinitely more disturbing and sad.

You bought just one? Are you a mono fan?

A good mono system is as good as a good stereo. Try a Knight mono amp pushing 3 watts into a single Klipsch Corner horn. Magic.
