I'd seen this huge mass from my apartment many times. I could never quite make it out, and wondered what on earth it could be. I wondered in vain for two years. Then I got into UE and found that it rested atop an abandoned building. For me, finally seeing The Roof Thing up close and even climbing to its top was the coolest thing about the plant.
