All the glass that could be broken, had been broken. The office windows were shattered, the flourescent lights had been yanked out and smashed. The floor was crunchy and covered in shattered glass. It was the work of vandals, done only a couple of weeks before demolition started. Perhaps it was silly to feel enraged by this, considering the building was being snipped to bits anyways, but I was upset anyway. Then, in this room, I found a bloody kleenex.
