A few years back, this side was too, but it is now owned by the University of Alabama. The road you see was part of a circle that lead to the front of the Psychopathic Building, the other side of the circle was to the left, was was the front of the building. Shelby Hall is behind the photo. The white building is an unknown (by me) Bryce Hospital building, still in use and fairly modern (70's?); Bryce Hospital dates to 1861. The photo is roughly facing East; possibly east-north-east.
