The cargo container baffles us - It's very well secured, and seemed to me somewhat custom made. The ends have been extended. There seems to be a generator or somthing inside.

the extended ends are the railway owned ones they travel on the upper level of double stacks and are too big to fit ships, they when retired are sold off for other uses

Its used to house the motor and fuel tank for the motor, for the blower used for moving around the cement/coal ash from silo to transport and such.
