Thanks Rainman. I wanted to show everyone my old home town, even if the only thing visible, besides the mine, was some jack rabbits, and cactus. I plan to go back some year. It been 21 years since i left.

There is Nivelo, but most of it is on government land, or private property, or indian reservations. Sadly, what you see in this photo is now gone! Security on what's left is tight. I would have to e-mail a friend that works there what's left.

I know, i used to live in Arizona, in fact, i was born, and raised in this little community not far from this processing mill. Sadly it's all gone now, well most of it.

Morenci can still be found by using Google Earth, but last time i checked, there was not much left there. Ore processing, and smelting is done at other facilities.
