Collapsed ceiling in one of the upstairs rooms in the control center. The dome above this ceiling is still very solid. These flaps may have been used for noise abatement.

If you look at em they are actually an old suspended ceiling that has just fallen apart and collapsed - the good news is those are all asbestos tiles! WHEE!

The funny angles were making me think they were supposed to hang vertically, but in retrospect that pry doesn't make a lot of sense.
Asbestos tiles... And probably painted with lead paint too. Thank g-d for P100 respirators.

yeah - theres a little loft area you can look out over what was the cafeteria - you can see it various stages of disintegration.
