Very reminiscent of the industrial buildings designed by architect Albert Kahn. Typically, a row of brick, a row of glass, a row of concrete. Many Detroit and Southern Ontario industries commissioned the Albert Kahn firm to design their factories.

Dominion Rubber here in Kitchener, The Kaufman Footwear plant here in Kitchener too...both designed by the Kahn firm...which by the way is still an active architectural firm!
