They were bringing these giants just as i was leaving town for Oklahoma. The P&H 4100A in the first picture is just as impressive.

I know this truck is not the largest around, BUT,as the description states, the Cat 793B is ONE of the largest, with the 797b being Cat's biggest, with a hauling capacity of 380 tons. Komatsu has one that's a good sized truck, the 930E-3SE, but the capacity of this giant is only 320 tons. The mine runs both Komatsu, and the Cat trucks.

My great uncle used to drive these, he would put his lunch, a can of beans, on the block to heat it up. He did that one time and it fell off and got stuck, a few minutes later the can blew up and the cab smelled like beans for months.

My dad did the very same thing many times. These trucks were just arriving as i left Morenci in '82.Had to bring these giants in on RR flat cars, in pieces.
