  may the water running down is that special potental Fire Water. jsut bursts into flames. does seem very strange. do they look new or old

  They look newer, just one of those hoses is like 100$, and each coupling is about 70$. Not something you want to leave laying around.

  Considering the short length of the hoses, they may not be firefighter specific. I'd guess they are water pump outflow hoses left behind by some contstruction crew that was probably pumping water into the drain and forgot the hoses.
