  well we had 66 blocks until the late 70s too. Bix blocks work great for UTP also, 66 blocks look quite silly when we run ethernet through them. anyways 110 blocks are just a cheap immitation of the bix

  On top of that, 66 Blocks are only Cat3 compliant.

There are a few places I know that have BIX blocks actually here...so hope is not all lost :P

  yeah but i know a few american techs that dont even have a real bix tool they just have this blade put in thier impact tool. you need a real bix tool

  Your right I had I had to move a few phone line in a building in OKC I was working on...It was a BIX. Dont know how they got that..Had to buy a BIX tool off ebay to do the job..
