It's amazing how abandoned places up north stay in better condition for so much longer than they do in the southern US. If this gas station was in Tennessee it wouldn't have looked this good 20 years ago.

Its actually hard to find nice abandoned places out here. Vancouver and the surrounding cities are quite efficient at demolishing everything quickly.

Drove by there today. Both the gas station and the house on the same lot have been demolished.

My dad used to live here as a teenager over 30 years ago with his family, they ran the gas station business. Apparently they got eerie feelings living in that house.
