Too bad they are demolishing a retail complex to make room for a... retail complex. Couldn't they just renovate? Might be a lot cheaper.

In Ogden, UT, they tore the Ogden City mall down to build a new style of center that should include outdoor walkways, huge shops, and condos built on top of it all. It'll almost look like a "mini-city" built with the old fasion flair. Everything old is new again! Dr.Jav in Wonderland

They finished demolition shortly after these photos - I think by the end of summer it was gone.
It's just a mound of dirt - they spared one parking lot and put all the trees from the property in it and fenced it in at one point *shrug*. Haven't driven by it in a few months though. The old sign for the mall is still standing too (with the name of the company that was supposed to turn it into a data/telecom center)

Sounds familiar - I think it was still there when I worked in Addison. However, I just checked the city's website and it's not listed anymore ;(

Copelands is gone. I agree, great cajun food. Sat next table over to Tony Dorsett and if I remeber right, Emerson Walls while eating there once.

Kinda reminds me of the department store in Condemned, minus the mannequins and bodies
