Me too. We used to buy our annuals there in the 70's. It sure was jammed packed in there. I wish I had visited before the demo. At least the Hung Fatt and the fleabag motel are still around to remind me of those days. I remember watching the road crews widen Montreal Road in the summer of 1980. The old 2 lane road ran where the median is now... In 1979 someone stole my bike and left it in the ditch that used to be across from Laporte's.

Oh, and then there was the abandoned house that was next to the law office beside what was then the Texaco station. I watched them tear that place down around 1980 too. I used to play in the Texaco dumpster too.
