A grand ?? They are available as spare parts from 'Steve's World of Autoclaves' for a few hundred.
Ask nicely and Steve will even autograph it for you for wall mounting.

Its spooky. The only autoclaves I've seen before are much smaller, not attached to walls or anything, just plug 'em in.

I worked at a large hospital in my younger days and we had one that was just slightly smaller that this one to do all of the sterilization for the whole place.
