This is an absolute travesty. There aren't a lot of these places left, and especially not very many with deco stylings.

true. But the concept of having an "all-in-one" (living/entertainment/shops) place that represented what was the York, that's gone :( This being said, I need to go to the Snowdon next time I'm in Mtl, haven't been there in years...
