Hi Guys, Excellent Photos. I know two people who worked at McClouth Steele. I used to a Church where an older gent worked there. When McClouth closed, he lost his pension. Also too, my Cousin worked there, before he was killed by the Detroit Police, over a stupid gun he was trying to sell to a friend. His name was Michael Hill and he's buried in Woodmere Cemetery. Grave Photo here: https://www.facebo...026&type=3&theater He was 23 years old. McClouth closed a few years later. My Cousin got a job there and trying to get his life together, after being in trouble with the law for many years. He died before he had that chance. Thanks for the photos. I live in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Just up the road from Trenton.

I also should be fair and point out that the United Steel workers Union sent flowers and a Representative from the Union to the funeral and also a few workers and bosses from the plant showed up as well. I was impressed by this.
