  Aren't those usually attached to oil furnaces? I remember seeing one very similar in someone's basement.

  I don't mean to start something, but that tank is for fuel oil (heavy diesel). Gasoline is too dangerous to keep indoors, especially at an incinerator.

  Ja, most likely oil for the old coal burning boiler, which you can see was converted to oil, earlier in the gallery.

  Definately fuel oil, I used to work at a warehouse for an oil company and had to paint these things to send out all the time.
