The station as it appeared in 1998, 4 years after being abandoned. The stairs are blocked and if you try to climb the stairs, staff or security will yell at you to get down from the area and threaten you with ejection from the park.

Funny that you go into it the time I worked there.

It's basically used for parties and stuff relating to the cast members. I went into it about December 2008 (completely unlocked) and it was decked out in christmas decor, even the tables had cloths on them.

Did you notice that the old car entrances have potted plants covering them so people don't look in?

The paint is also kept up on the building, even towards the areas guests can't see.

I heard rumors that underneath main street is possibly a 50's area bomb shelter, but at this point it remains rumors. spent the better part of some shifts poking around the main street area behind city hall and couldn't figure out a entrance.

Maybe in the future i'll work there again and possibly find it.

Closest you'll get to tunnels is around the fantasy land area, there are several equipment tunnels, including part of a old train tunnel i've been told. Below your paws in toontown near mickeys house is entertainment support for the mickey meet and greet (he has to climb a lengthy flight of stairs to reach the different movie sets in it, the risers are covered in black marks from the shoes he wears) which contains a massive locker area and showers, plus a locked costume issue area.

Tommorrowland Terrace has a tunnel that runs from behind innoventions (the rotating theater) to tommorrowland terrace. Picture it running from behind the theater to a area if you see the performers for the star wars show coming out of. That is one of at least 3 entrances to it. Near Pixie Hollow (aka the old area you used to meet and greet ariel near the matterhorn) is another. the third is behind the mentioned theater above. It's nothing special, just your typical utilidor. If you've seen behind the scenes photos/video of the underground hub and spoke system that Walt disney world uses, it looks like that (modern marvels has a dvd out showing footage taken down there)

Massive conduit/electrical cables and more, fridges for the food service above, a cargo elevator that gets massive food shipments and a golf cart taken into it, etc.

Explore at your own risk.

New Orleans square area has some underground parts to it also, but that has changed recently. when I left, it was supposed to get a massive overhaul due to sewage issues with the main kitchen. Yumm Yumm

Great pics!! I love the secrets in Disneyland.

I'd like to find some pics of the old Rocket Rods tunnel, or the Star Tours overflow.
