Description
Yeah, that just happened. This was Bud Montgomery's class, and he was definitely an interesting teacher. I had him for Civil War, and he taught a few other history classes. People would lift up the drop ceiling and sign the original ceiling in his classroom, those three missing tiles nearest the chalkboard reveal a huge mass of signatures. My brother's and mine are up there somewhere, but I didn't see them. That loose wire hanging out of his PA box on the wall has a toggle switch rigged up - whenever he was in the middle of teaching and the principle or whoever came on the PA with an announcement, he'd get an annoyed look on his face and shut it off. I, during a study hall one day, had invented a little crossbow that shot pencils using a pen body and lots of rubber bands. One day he caught me showing it to someone in class, and asked me to demonstrate. The rest of the class period was spent passing it around while everyone (including him) took turns shooting pencils into the ceiling, where my crossbow buried them quite nicely. As far as I know there are still some in the ceiling of the lunchroom from that thing.
