In the lunch room. I still remember where I sat every year of high school. Freshman year, I sat off-frame to the right of this perspective, tucked away beside the stairs, by the pay phones with Andy Skinner and company and played cards, mostly five-card draw poker and Spoons. Sophomore year, I sat pretty much directly ahead of and ten feet or so away from where I'm standing now with Colton Killkenny and a few others and got into food fights. Junior year, I sat by the furthest purple pillar on the right with Brittany Kline, Justin Miller, Jake Reed, and others, and made prank calls and got pencils stuck in the ceiling. Seniors are allowed to eat outside, weather permitting, so when it wasn't, I sat right in front of the low purple wall on the far end with lots of other seniors, waiting for the weather to permit. When it did, we ate at picnic tables outside, practiced breaking-point tests on SoBe bottles, threw the lids on the roof, and Sharpie'd the table - I'm not a bastard, it was tradition. After about all Senior year of throwing SoBe lids on the lunchroom roof, a heavy rain hit, and there was a pile of them a foot deep at the outlet of the downspout.
