It should be noted that the sockets are meant to hold fuses and would never be open like this in a hot state. What is a little bit more unnerving is the unshielded coupling plinth at the bottom. It doesn't seem to be extremely old though, the last addition I suppose is the one on the upper left, its a ground fault breaker.

The fuses themselves look like bottlesthe colors in the fuse sockets are fore a spicific amperage good desighn but very funny looking fuses. Im an electrician from the USA.
