Pad mounted transformer with secondary current transformers CTs and meter socket on transformer cabinet. Someone was really stupid for ever allowing the cabinet doors to face the brick wall like this because whoever would be working on this thing live would be trapped if they had to get the hell out in a hurry. I believe that this is no longer acceptable in a new installation. When they have to work on these things they have to use a hot stick because the primary side is usually tens of thousands of volts. If this thing ever decided to blow up [transformer oil fire] that canopy would be a real problem not to mention if they ever had to replace this thing. You need a small crane to lift this transformer.
