I'd love to check this place out.

Went there today, you don't have to walk down the tracks to get here, just drive down the road that's near it.

It was easier for me to walk down the tracks (I didn't have a car or a drive). Besides, the walk was pretty nice despite being one of the hottest days that summer.

Yeah, it kinda helped that we had a Jeep, but it made getting there a lot easier than walking about 10km down the tracks.

A jeep? Damn I wish I had one.

How about an old series Land Rover or '46 Willys Jeep?
Posted by nootz 7/5/2008 4:04 AM | remove
Ok, I love British vehicles, but you wouldn't catch me in an LR. And good luck finding a Willys out this way. But yeah, I'd prefer a Jeep...with all Jeep parts.

I'm sure we -=wouldn't=- catch you in a Land Rover... Those things are fast when pushed!
Posted by Blackbird 7/7/2008 1:19 AM | remove
I thought they (Land Rovers) had to be really pushed to go 60mph (like the Willys). They both have a similar engine after all.

  ...pushed by hand...

ive seen one buzzing around sarnia, those things are damn near indestructible

Go on Kijiji, I'm sure you'll find something. I've seen a lot of the Chevy versions around, but they're all relatively new. And I'm sure we all know how destructible they are, lol.

Screw it, I'll buy an old VW Cabriola soft-top and put a lift kit and big ass tires on it!
