Not sure. It could be tar. Or it could be a stable micro black hole, getting set to devour this corner of the universe. It's hard to tell from this angle.

whatever it is/was, it was really hard, but I'm pretty sure it was roofing tar, cause when I'd step on it, it'd leave a shoeprint
