I read that in a newspaper 2 years ago. I don't remember well, but i know the expropriation cost was huge, and it's also a 8 lanes highway built on a slope... And that highway connect with the biggest, the highest and the most expensive "échangeur" in Québec, échangeur Turcot.

2 bridges basically, 4 kms long, built on top of a nasty slope, with a half dozen on/off ramps in the most densely built up part of town? You're damn right that's expensive, nevermind the Ville-Marie Tunnel and the Turcotte Interchange.
