Next to a doorway stood a free-standing cubicle which we reckoned was a toilet. However, toilets in these places normally go in pairs (M & F) and there seemed to be no plumbing or porcelain within. Its function remains a mystery.

Who knows, but I would not like to have been in there during a 3 kilovolt electrical fire - you'd be smoked and kippered in no time.
