The cables. Keane Wonder had three cables, two of which guided the buckets and held up the tram structure, and the other which pulled the ore buckets. The gravity produced from the weighted buckets going down the tramline was sufficient enough to power an ore crusher at the top, which crushed the ore into two-inch chunks for easy processing at the bottom.
