  Why is it that racks like this allways have the pipes (they're pipes, not hoses) attached to the bottles with two or three loops?

  The loops are probably just spare pipe in case a connection has to be remade.

  I think it's more a pressure gradient/limiting thing, actually. Else there'd be a pressure drop or buildup between the bottles. Dont quote me, though.
