I had a gf with 3 kids a few years back. Taking them out for a day at La Ronde earned me about a billion good will points per visit. The season's passes were surprisingly affordable too.

I'm on this track as a (figurant) in the (Coeur au poing) movie. And we did-it 8 time on a row to shoot all the scenes:)

the thing i like most about it was the rumble... the just evil rumble that thing has at speed. it's never been matched on other coasters I've been on. The Comet at the great escape in lake george is a toy compared to this thing

that rollercoaster is a beast.. you can't beat the feel of a wood coaster.. the look with the beams.. the bend (suspension) of the wood.. the rumble as sam mentioned... the loss of hats in the middle of the thing. Haven't been in years.
