Description
I have to admit, I'm somewhat curious about why there are rocket motor boxes at an abandoned house. These can't have been here more than a year or so, or the sun would have bleached out the writing.

  our local ARMY NAVY surplus store sells these (at least they have them for sale Ive yet to anybody pay $39.95 for a crate)

  I can't make out a part number... but if there's a part number, or something is legible after NSN in other pictures you have, I could find out how much they cost :-P

  My grandfather was in the Canadian Navy, he used to bring these home for stuff. That could be the case here.
