  too big for anything that came down this assemby line... i think those are fluroscent light housings.

  actually those are a carousel for the cars as they come out from paint, and the doors have been assembled (inside panels put on) they hold the car on the bottom to prevent scratches on the new paint. pretty much before it goes into underbody where another machine kinda squishes them together
