Looks like the black buttons are for 1, 2 and 3 zeros respectively. Man, would I like to figure this thing out. It's so bizarre!

Wang's right - those 3 dot keys are for 1/2/3 zeros. It's an Olivetti Summa Prima 20...an old mechanical calculator. http://home.vicnet...vetti/Olivetti.htm

I have that exact model in operating condition. Yes the black buttons are the zeros.
