The huge maze of stocks behind the slaughterhouse. The fences look like they were electrified while in use. Seeing this area made me realize that this must have actually been a slaughterhouse, with the silos simply food storage for the large herds of cattle.

Orrrrrr...a feedlot on a railway. Were there any tracks nearby or had there been? So far I've not seen anything that looks like other than a large feedlot.

No tracks nearby, but it was definitely a feedlot. After some more research I found out that this complex was operated by the Central Shuey Dairy out of Oakland, where the cows raised here would be shipped to be milked.

Ah...okay, thanks. It sure didn't strike me as a slaughterhouse complex. Made me kind of homesick. Come from a cattle ranching family in CO. :-)
