the mazda box, my neighbor was a buyer at claude neon when it was first put up, it was covered in individual 100w bulbs they re did it in the early 90s and those white boards were for an experimental laser written ad that never worked

Hmm. I remember that. It was pretty cool while it lasted. Nowhere near as cool as the laser show held at the CCA's sculpture garden though.

best laser show i saw was the 2001 home opener at the big owe, the expos used the underside of the roof as a huge screen

Well,I had a flat mate,called "Laser John" from California...he was the "master" of the Laser shows at the planetarium Dow for few months when I lived at the corner (very convenient for him..And fun for me :I've never seen so many laser shows for free in my life !)

yeah, the planetarium has a few cool things, the slide projectors in the 90s i found kinda budget but the zeiss is just incredible
