There's also an interesting set of empty buildings further on into the centre of town. On the left, just before you get to Aldi. Think they were part of the University at one time. I took the bus into Bangor from the Caernarfon direction and noticed a few interesting sites in the area you mention. The only one I saw near the university looked like a demolition site, though. I had wondered about checking it out, but by the time I'd explored the scrapyard at Port Penrhyn and the bus depot, I was out of time. Now I've just realised I missed one room in the bus depot - the upper floor room visible behind the brake test machine. I doubt there's anything interesting there but it's niggling me!
