Perfect paddling water. I can see me doing a stern squirt or a roll right below the falls! <3

I grew up here and know of at least 3 people who thought rafting over the Falls would be "cool"....they are dead. The foam beneath the falls is much deeper and the currents much stronger than it appears. The bridge from where this photo was taken used to be a good spot to jump from....it is 86'. I don't think there are many jumpers anymore plus they made it illegal to jump from the bridge after some folks drown. It is reported by my mom who saw other bridges there since her childhood that there is a schoolbus and a concrete truck in there that have never been found. I don't suggest kyaking there.

Good advice Werley, she's a treacherous stretch, I'm sure you've seen the "toilet bowl" of ice that forms under the bridge; it never freezes, but it is one hell of a photo opp.

yeah i live about 1/2 a mile up from here, this summer some idiotstick went down there, and got caught on a rock. Needless to say, my Dad's friend from the fire department got right in his face and screamed the piss out of him. I wouldn't advise going down there. But if you need photo op's, i know alot of shit there and how to get to it.
