Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo was relocated from Redwood Shores (Redwood City...east of 101 just south of Foster City). That's where it was called "Marine World Africa USA". Nowadays, it's called Oracle Corporation and a bunch of residential housing on landfill waiting for liquifaction to dessamate it.

I agree with mattsb. Nice lens, the kind of lens Freud would like. Despite the artwork, there never were any dolphins or whales in this exhibit. This was long before marine parks realized there was a lot of money to be made with dolphin swim 'educational' programs.
Read Don C. Reed's book 'Notes from an Underwater Zoo' for a slice of life of Marine World/Africa USA when it was in Redwood City.
