I remember the Tandy Model 1 and 2's took the 8 inch disks; I have an old Tandy catalog that is hilarious to look at; and the prices would make your eyes bleed; 2000 bucks for a 4 meg hard disk "option"? Then again the shit worked; The applications were not all that memory consuming and they got the job done; I remember running Quattro off a HD 5.25 as the "hard disk" and a low density drive to store the files.
