Maybe not. While looking around Stockton on Google Earth, I came across something that caught my eye. Along the Stockton waterfront in a field was what looked like a bridge frame. It looks similar in construction to the Dagget Rd Bridge, meaning these two bridges were probably constructed simultaneously or around the same time. This could possibly mean the two bridges were closed down at the same time too. Could this be Jacobs Bridge? We may never know for sure, but I'm pretty sure it is.

Hmm. Have you tried investigating that other bridge?

So this was a "rotatating" version of a drawbridge? Never seen that before.
