It's obvious that someone filmed some porno movies here, which made use of some substandard lighting equipment, and possibly a few faulty extension cords. Apparently, the cinematographer for the shoot decided that it would be a good idea to have a number of candles lit in a tight circle around the "action." During a particularly vigorous DP scene, one of the PA's, who got into the business because he thought it would be exceptionally exciting, but has since become jaded and filled with self-loathing, saw the paper on the floor and lit it on fire, just to watch it burn for a few seconds while waiting for the money shot.
