  i have seen this building when i was driving down by whitby psych i wondered what it was and my inspection it appears to be an abandoned apartment building

  ..... its building 30 of the Psych... Built in the 60's I believe.... Childrens ward I think? I can check on that

  I've heard a few people say it's the Nurse's Residence, but that's not true, it was a building for Developmentally Handicapped, so basically yes, a children's ward. It wasn't really associated with the rest of the Psych, it was just on the same property, which is why none of the tunnels connect to it, etc...

  i've been in this building and it totally freaks me out... it's really the only buliding that gives me the creeps for some reason.....

  I honestly have a feeling that the court yard was magnificent in its day. they have some very mature japanese maples in there

  As ExKa put it, right. It was built later but only the ground and second floors were occupied. It also served for educational purposes and the ground floor had an archives and classrooms.

  unfortunately for you "raider", the ghost of said guy did not know that back in 2000...he meant to say that is what he once thought...he did not find nanomans site till 2002...and had only a vague memory of the existence of the complex from 1996...so there's no need to, you know...do this stuff...
