Much nicer than your other car. :) But I'm sure it attracts a lot more attention, too.

Somehow the idea of that parked next to that trailer just makes my "wrong-o-meter" go into overdrive.

To answer the first question, it's a 3.4 V6, and it's sort of a dawg. But it has a Flowmaster muffler and it sounds like it'll blow you off the road! It has a high-end suspension, so it's a keeper. We wanna drop in a 350 hp LS-1 and a Borg Warner 6-speed someday!!

my friend Elroy has a 2001 Camaro SS with the LS6/4L65E automatic swap, 12-bolt Moser posi, 4.10:1 final... it's a 10 second car... Another friend has a 2000 Firebird WS6 LS1/6speed... i almost bought a 2002 Camaro SS before I bought my Cobalt... Since it snows here, overpowered RWD didn't seem like such a good idea.

that car has 190 000 miles on it, so I'm waiting for the engine to throw a rod anytime, so I can drop an LS1 and a 6sp tran in there and kick ass!

i don't want to be rude, but 190,000 miles, if that engine hasn't heaved anything, it's not going to. :o) the 3.4L was a stout, durable engine.

That's very dissappointing. You need to get your act together. My '79 k10 has a built 350, your Camaro has NO excuse.

Hang in there... we're working on it. Saving pennies until it can be done right...no shortcuts or cheap parts.

it would be cheaper (and easier) to find either a pre-98 car (LT1 350) or a post-98 car (LS1)... the 3.4L cars are san some mounting points for installing the engine.

I had a Z28 about the same year. I miss it, but the people before me tore it up and I had the benefit of fixing everything

Had a '91 Firebird as my daily driver back in the mid-1990's - bought it with about 49,000 miles clocked on it. It had a 3.1L V6 and I ran it 'til one of the pistons blew itself a hole at just over 221,000 miles - flimsy-built cars, but those engines were tough little buggers.....
