Description
The Palace's floorplan was rather confusing. In the upper floors it wasn't possible to walk trough the hotel from wing to wing, and because of that there were similar staircases between the middle part and each wing, reaching from the basement up to the rooftop terrace. The other stairs were used to access the upper floors in the central part, where they weren't in the same level with the wings' floors.

Ditto - these are excellent photographs! The compositions, textures, and colors are fascinating.
