Actually these licence plates were used from 1978 to 1985 some in 6 digit ALPHA County codes like 20- GV225 AND SOME like this later on... thats NON county coded.. SO this one I would say would be from around 1983.. because the 1983 tags like this one were NOT county coded like the 1978 to 1981 but then the County Codeing picks up again in later in 83 so this has to be around 83 Heres the link were I researched http://www.15q.net/tn.html

it was funny, my truck had the older bicentennial plate, but my cars had the 2000+ issue '...sounds good to me' tag and they were registered a month apart.
