as do i, the opening ceremonies were cool that year as the girl carried the torch up the stairs the stairs changed color as she went

its amazing when you compare it to the lake placid bobsled run that is 4 years older!

the lake placid bobsled run is still used and had the benefit of not trying to survive a civil war.

And it seems surreal to watch first the Olympic games, than a civil war where they had the Olympic games.

My mate used this when he was training and competing in the late 80's. He eventually competed in the 92 and 94 Olympics.
